Haus Glortal in Breckerfeld

A portion of soul balm in the form of a cozy atmosphere. Nice seating with a view (indoor and outdoor). The service is good and you can tell at every point that a professional is working in the background. Small improvement point: When the kitchen is closed, tarte flambée or sandwiches could be offered in addition to cakes or soup. A little tip for guests: Company secrets or private, intimate exchanges can easily be heard at the next table and you share your knowledge

The food was ok. The lunch menu is very clear, however. Friendly service. Unfortunately, you can only park for a fee in front of the house, although it is out of the way

The service was unfortunately very inattentive and didn't seem very friendly. The menu was very manageable, there was only tarte flambée and waffles. There used to be better choices after a walk. The waffles and the tarte flambée were run-of-the-mill and in terms of taste nothing special.

We have liked the Hausglörtal for a long time and hope that it will be really good. On Sunday at noon we tried the "new" Glörtal. The lunch menu is unfortunately a bit small. At lunchtime on Sundays in particular, we want more than a curry or dumpling with sauce. We thought the lunch menu meant an additional offer. Only in the evening does the correct menu that hangs outside apply. We like the place and really don't mean it as a criticism but as a suggestion. We'll go again in the evening soon.

Last night we were spontaneously at Haus Glörtal. Already at the entrance there was disinfectant and on a sign the instruction to wait for the waitress because of allocation of seats. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Since it was already dark outside, the many candles and the appealing ambience quickly created a cozy feeling. What we immediately noticed positively at the table: there was a laminated card (very good, can be disinfected) with a QR code. At first you thought it was the menu to be scanned in, but we already had it on the table. The QR code was used to enter personal data during corona times. Absolutely exemplary when you consider how often loose pieces of paper from previous guests are still on the table. At dinner, my husband and I both decided on a dish of the day. Very fresh and superbly prepared! In addition to the friendly service, who always looked after the right thing, the cook came to our table and personally convinced himself of our satisfaction. He can't always do that when it's very crowded in the restaurant or on the terrace. But at the time of our visit, a Monday evening, only 4 tables were occupied and we felt we were in very good hands. The dessert, panna cotta, was also very, very tasty. All in all a nice cozy evening. The toilets are also clean and there is additional disinfectant in the anteroom. Perhaps it should be mentioned that you have to go down a long flight of stairs on the way there, which may not be ideal for older people. But maybe there is an additional alternative. We were completely satisfied with our spontaneous visit to Haus Glörtal and will definitely be back there.

We went here for dinner on Sunday evening with 4 adults. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good that you could sit outside on the beautiful terrace. But we also liked the bright, friendly atmosphere inside. There was disinfectant at the entrance and the tables were set far enough apart. The staff was very friendly and attentive and actually always wore the masks over their nose and mouth! In addition to the normal menu, there were 2 daily specials. The food was very good. The rum steak was cooked to the point and the herb butter was obviously homemade! The Wiener Schnitzel was also great and the side salad tasty. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come again.

We went there for coffee today. The online reservation went well. The service was friendly and we were served very quickly even though the restaurant was well attended. We like to come back to try the schnitzel dishes.

Staff only look at the floor - just don't see any customers. After waiting for 10 minutes, we left again on Sunday.

We celebrated my granddaughter's baptism yesterday. It was very beautiful. Food was great and the staff was so friendly. I can only recommend it to everyone. 🤗

Delicious food. We ate fried potatoes and waffles. Coffee and cake were also delicious. On Sundays it is a bit fuller. Affordable parking is sufficiently available. A nice view of the Glörtal. The walk around the Glör takes about 45 min / 60 min. For us a nice little piece of Sauerland. Because many motorcycle riders are on the road, it can be a bit uncomfortable for terrible dogs. As soon as you leave the car park it is quieter and quieter. We were last there when the dam was empty. We recommend.

We celebrated a birthday and brunched. The food was very good! A very large selection and to the food in the photos there were also lunch and dessert! It was really nice, even outside on the terrace we could enjoy the sun :-) A star deduction is there for over lunch the terrace was full and apparently there was not enough staff there. What I really do not find so tragic, because it is difficult to assess. But since everything went with us on an invoice, we wanted to order at the bar and relieve the waiters, so it was then rolled with several eyes and told us, we should order the waiter. But that took off and also up to 20 or 30 minutes ... But otherwise it was a very nice day!

For a long time we were back at the Glörtalsperre near Breckerfeld. We were very surprised by the variety of dishes. Especially recommended is the tapas evening on Thursday in buffet form, please with registration. Service, cleanliness and value for money SUPER.

The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. The staff was very friendly and our dog was also allowed in.
